In a single rotation, the LightSpeed VCT scanner produces 64 high-resolution images which are combined to form a 3-D view of a patient’s entire coronary structure. From these images, our experienced cardiologists can noninvasively diagnose cardiovascular disease, identify blockages, even survey the motion and pumping action of the heart in great detail. As a result, diagnostic procedures may be performed with new-found speed and accuracy, while requiring patients to hold their breath for a much shorter period of time.
